Not sure what is worse dust or mud but either way I seem to be doing a lot of wheel scrubbing lately. Is there something that can be applied to originally black but now faded to grey anodised rims to stop shtuff sticking to them?

Just leave the mud on.
You won't see new mud or dust then.
