Did you want the box?

Maybe sending the box as well would have made the postage more expensive? Perhaps they have a large wholesale box of tubes rather than retail boxes.

Does it matter?

I'm not tremendously bothered, although a box might have been nice as they're for my spares drawer.

I could see that the box would make you feel like a winner

Either that or it's knock off gear.... ๐Ÿ˜†

Is that a real thing? Even when I've ordered 10 tubes at a time from Wiggle/CRC they've always come in individual boxes. Shirley they'd be much more prone to getting damaged if kept loose rather than boxed?

Open mould Chinese innertubes passed off as the real thing ๐Ÿ˜€

I'd want the box too, I've a bag of spare tubes in all sizes and its more convenient if I can tell what tube I'm picking up.

Somewhere, a cyclist just found his bike up on bricks, and his tubes missing.

Ah yes, Yorkshire.

After buying a token at Dalby Forest, I asked how long the bike wash ran for and got the reply "Long enough to wash a bike".

All I was wondering was if I could get two bikes done

@zilog Thinking outside the box ๐Ÿ˜›

I suspect the postage idea might be nearer the mark. Not a "delicate" item and unlikely to get punctured by sharp objects.

Most kind sir, however I will improvise and use cigarette packets or maybe those boxes that posh tins of pilchards come in.

Even in the wholesale boxes you at least get a rubber band to keep it rolled up. Maybe they're going for a world record at the Planet X office.
