Does anyone have any experience of if this is possible? ive never made a home insurance claim but i was wondering if i could get my kit and helmets replaced after myself and a family member had a cycle accident at the weekend (no other party involved)

I claimed on my household insurance when my Garmin fell off the bars and was run over by a 4 x 4. Will very much depend on your policy though, whether stuff is covered outside the house and whether there are specific exceptions.
