Anyone else had problems getting chunky monkeys to stay inflated tubeless? Ive reseated the new 29er tyre twice now and pumped up to 40PSI but still seems to leak like a sieve around the bead.

Possible then....thats good. Perhaps I just need to pump it and take it for a 20min spin to get the stans working.

More tape!

My 29 CM works fine on superstar rims

Had no problems with CM 29ers on 2 different rims. No sidewall leakage at all, a little bit around the bead and valve, but both sealed within 15/20 mins. Did need to pump them both upto 40 psi to get the 'pop' onto the rim.

Not had this issue with the tyre you're using but have on others and Kimbers is right- more tape will solve this.

My 26er CM worked better tubeless than the Ardent TR I ran with it!

Work great for me on Sun Ringle EQ27 and Mavic 321 and 521. I run low pressures too, around 17psi.

Works well on Flow Ex rims. Goes straight up with one wrap of stans tape and a track pump.

I blew one of the rim trying to get it to seat properly. My ears rung for a week! Be careful not to over inflate. Once I sorted it out, it's stayed up perfectly with just a bit of Stan's on OO rims (ghetto with 24" cut down tube)

I echo billoddies sentiments. Great front tyre for big rocky descending.
