Hi,

looking at making a bid with a mate on his Chumba hx2 frame its a few years old but its in good nick how much are they worth?

£120ish absolute tops.

I've had and sold 2 hx1s and tbh the resale value isn't great despite them being really good frames.

cheers ive had a hx1 but i swapped it for a road bike and bought it as a full bike in the first place so no idea how much there worth

I was gonna say £120-140 if it is in really really good nick, includes headset etc. As it's a few years it probably has battle scars so £120 sounds right.

If its a version 2 they make a great semi fat as there's plenty of rear clearance

ok yeh so its strong but thats on a £1800+ frame them on-ones are only £400ish frames in my mind buy cheap expect cheap

Yes they are.

If it's silver it's almost certainly the newer model - afaik they didn't make a silver mk1.

Thankfully 17in is too small for me...

6'3 here so the med is just a bit small. Just as well to be fair as I've nothing to put on it.

I sold mine with hope headset & the EBB for £160 or £170 on here to Tazzy this time last year, it was less than 12months old and in pretty good nick
