So who is the best out of these two exceptionally talented riders.

Couldn't choose between them personally.
I find their styles a bit too different to compare like that to be honest.
If I had to chose, Danny, but their riding is different.

My brain wasn't able to comprehend the line he was going to take when he rode at the quarry wall. Certainly didn't see that coming.
He just does things no one else could imagine.
Akrigg.
He blew my mind when I saw him riding 10+ years ago, and I still prefer his style of riding trials to Danny's. So smooooth...
Plus Akrigg seems to be able to turn his skills to anything; DH, trails on a full susser etc. Just an all round amazing rider.

I reckon ray mears is far harder than Bear Grylls and anyway who would you rather be stuck surviving in the wild with a tubby guy or a skinny guy?
I vote Danny Mac. They're both awesome awesome cools and lovely. But I have a girly crush on Mr Mac Askill (he has such nice eyes/arms - yummz) 😀

They're both selfish lovers.
Both are brilliant. Akrigg makes everyone else look a bit one dimensional tho. He just looks like he's having a lark all the time, on anything with two wheels and pedals. I wouldn't be suprised to see him doing tricks and messing around on a penny farthing or a tandem. He rides roadie quite alot aswell.
Well if you look at this:
Akrigg by about 6 seconds!
If you want it over a bit more distance Akrigg pulled out 22 seconds on him in the main.
and for those who think Macaskill is one dimensional the mega is not exactly a trials event!
Both are great riders and Akrigg does not get the credit he deserves.

Chris may be a bit more extreme,but skill wise Danny is a class of his own.
Not seen any of Chris Akrigg thats close.
