Anyone know how its riding in the Chilterns ?

I fancy some fun there Sunday, but wondered if its either too melted and muddy, or too deep to pedal.

Cheers.

It was quite rideable today. Snow was quite grippy and easy to pedal through, and ground is rock hard underneath wherever there was mud or water previously.

Really good between Ashridge, Wendover and Pulpit hills today, almost as good as that dry very cold period last winter. Snow's quite dry and powdery, not too deep and it's frozen (but very lumpy in places) underneath, a few puddly bits but nothing major. Quite icy where it's been packed down.

Bigger tyres and low pressures were working well, it's not mud-tyre wet snow conditions yet and sunday should be no different.

Brilliant - thats the sort of riding weather report I need.

Looks like I will give it a go tomorrow.

Thanks.
