Hi, I'm planning on fitting a child seat to my Karate monkey, which has canti brakes fitted. Does anyone have any experience of fitting a rack and seat and could you recommend any brand? Concerned that given the wavy seat post tube, it may not been the most secure for a seat post seat fixing - although it is steel I guess. Any advice greatly appreciated! Cheers
Being that there are pannier mounts, we would recommend a Co-Pilot Taxi or Limo. Uses a rack supplied with the seat. Using a KM myself at the moment to get this whole 29 thing although lacking offspring a kid seat has not been on the list of 'upgrades' to do.
Thanks thebikechain, believe it or not, my KM ?year (but blue in colour) doesn't have rack mounts unlike the new one 🙁 Decided to go with the 'safer option' ie rack mounted seat, but upgrade to an Ogre 🙂
