Swinley is broken and a bit damp at the moment.
Was looking at giving Chicksands a visit this weekend. Is it worth the drive? Or is it just as muddy as everywhere else.

Was up there at the weekend. It's running very well. Worth the trip imo.

chicksands is always worth the drive, assuming thats the type of riding you enjoy?

The grip is great just after it rains, as it get nice and tacky. When its dry, it runs rather fast.

don't forget a fiver to ride, and some cash for the smashing Thai food van ๐Ÿ˜€

I know even less about Woburn. But I like the look of the dual slalom and 4x track. Will be riding my Alpine 160.
I'll pas on the Thai good though, does it not always have fish in it somewhere ?

Riding at Chicksands tonight, not long after a afternoon of downpours.
It's wet in there but hardly any puddles on the runs as it drains well.
Thai food is great, there's always veggie options but not seen fish on menu ๐Ÿ™‚

Very often contains fish sauce and/or fermented shrimp

That's was worth the drive ๐Ÿ™‚

Only bits that were really muddy were the bottoms of both the start Ramps.
That what I thought about Thai food, hopefully the coffee was sea product free.

So, what's there now? I haven't been there since they took down all the North Shore stuff.
