Have been advised to pump it up to max and put it in a bucket of water.
What should I be looking for, steady stream of bubbles or just a slowly emerging one?
I can't see anything.

How long is it taking before it goes too soft....

Just got a full sus at the end of the summer, pumped the rear upto 175 psi, and thought on Tusday night this week, "hmmm that feels a little soft"

I would say it feels soggy after 3 miles.
Its one of those swivel monarch shocks. I have a new shock but would like to fix it as there's nothing on telly and I like a challenge.
With such rapid air loss I would expect to see a steady stream of bubbles. It holds air just fine as long as you don't use it!

Screw trying to show bubbles to decide. If it's going down during a ride, it's leaking. Do an air can service with new seals (simple), job done.
