I want to convert one of my wheels to tubeless as the other is already done.
What's the best way to do it ?
Rim is a Stan's ztr rapid and getting a tyre on it is bloody hard work and I've pinched two inner tubes already trying.
Any ideas.
Cheers.
Steve.
Stans tap and a valve, or ghetto 20" tube
Cheapest? You need some tape for the rim bed, gorilla tape can be had cheaper than 'proper' stuff. Then use the valve and sealant from the other wheel and Bob's your uncle, for only pennies 🙂
Ha but I need the valve and sealant in the other wheel to keep that up.
Can you buy valves?
Gorilla tape 25mm, couple of quid a roll, tubeless valve, single use bottle of sealant? Tenner tops I reckon.
Specialized valves from Evans are £3.

Was about to post this. Bought some for my new Flow Ex wheels, and they work well.
Use Gorilla tape (but it does leave residue), or the Tesa yellow stuff from Ebay (which is the same as Stans, but you get 5 time more for less money.)
