While cleaning the bike last week I heard a clatter a nipple gave way and the spoke went loose. Managed to get into the garage last night and while truing the wheel a second nipple went, followed by another three as I continued
My guess is that the exsiting nipples are alloy (hope hoops 29er, bought s/h off the forum) so I am thinking of replacing all the nipples with brass.
Anyone got any cheap sources for bulk buys?
