I need some new mtb shoes as my current Shimano (weigh the same as a brick) ones are falling apart.

So what light weight shoes are out there?

I've been looking at Decathlon own brand carbon soled ones which are £89 and weigh about 600g a pair and appear to get good reviews.

Merlin have some Carbon Spiuk shoes for £89 of similar weight, but bright green 😕

What else should I be looking at?

Ta

The Giro Carbide R is worth a look.

Giro Cylinder are very comfy. Merlin has them for 80 I think.

Shimano IMHO or Northwave, although the latter can be a tad delicate

Too small for me unfortunately, I'm a 42 in Shimano

Difficult to find much re the weight of some of the above mentioned shoes.

I'm working on the theory that *very* few people have feet as small as me 🙂
