I'm looking for some new 29er wheels – 15mm Bolt-thru front, 142x12 rear, six-bolt – that don't cost the earth and are a reasonable weight – 2,000g/pair all-up. Any of you got a well-proven combination and source please?

How much is cheap? I've got some unused DT XR1800s that tick the boxes other than 6-bolt. Sub-1800g though.

If you have up to £300 phone wicked cycles. They should be able to sort you out with some new 40t hope pro 2 Evos in your colour choice with your choice of Stans rims and your choice of adapters. My 26ers came in at about £285 delivered direct from hope.

While we're spamming the thread then I'll say I was after £225 posted for the DTs - 350 straight pull hubs on DT rims.
