Cross Country trail building;

Sunday 1st March - Big Build Day (Phase 2). Barbeque and prize draw for all volunteers.

Be a part of our newest and most exciting trail so far. It's only with your help that we'll be able to get phase 2 ready and opened in 2009 so park up the bike for a day and pick up a shovel. Whilst we can provide tools we're expecting a big turn out so bring you own spade, pick or strudy rake.

We'll be meeting at Swinnerton Cycles Forest Centre at 9.45am and will be leaving for the work site at 10am prompt.

Working over on the Special Events area near the Monkey Trail so if you fancy a spin around afterwards I,m up for a guided ride around the area.

Still a lot to do on Phase 2 I believe. But there was a load of work done yesterday and a few more build days should bring it ever nearer

Cheers Rich, missed this thread.

Cheers to anyone off here who turend up, we had 80 volunteers in the end. A bunch of (free) raffle sprizes and free bbq as a thanks to those who gave up a few hours to help.

There's still a long way to go. If all goes to plan we should have the trail opened by late Summer / early Autumn.

Next big build day is tba but possibly around easter. There'll be more goodies to give away and a whole new section of trail to build from scratch.
