Already got a black leather Spoon (I like the shape, comfort, and price) and would like another, but can only find the suede style ones.

How different is the feel of the suede style? I ride in lycra or baggies.

How long do the white ones stay white?

I found the suede finish very 'sticky' for about 600-700 miles, after which it was a bit more polished. Kept catching my shorts on it. Always used a leather spoon before this.

I sold my 'suede' effect Spoon after one weekend of riding.
It was horrible. Couldn't move around in the saddle - it gripped my shorts too much.

I like the grippyness.

Not tried a leather one, I have a suede one from that deal on Wiggle last year(?) sometime. Nice saddle but yes it's grippy. It's on my kiddie hauler though so doesn't bother me particularly.

You could get the Evans or Madison version in leather effect - same saddle, just different brand.
