Currently Ride a Carrera Vulcan with 120mm Toras out front. Now On the bike I feel a bit stretched, like I'm extending my arms out fully on the bike, Now on descents, even with my arse off the seat i still feel like I'm over the front of the wheel too much.

Now I'm thinking Wider bars from the current 680mm to something like 711mm with 38mm rise. Looking at these

Also i have a 100mm Stem, and was thinking maybe a 70mm or 80mm stem would bring me back a bit and feel a lot less stretched.

I'm 6ft and the bike is 20 inch.

Going for a wider bar will make you feel more stretched. I'd swap the stem for a 70mm first and see where that takes the handling.

Bear in mind wider bars will pull you forward a touch as your arms are spread wider.

I went from 90mm / 680 to 70 / 710 stem / bar combo with no issues.

In fact I would say it achieved the result you are looking for.

I only bought both together because I needed to go from 25.4 to 31.8 bars at the same time.

Try a £20 70mm stem first then see if you want the extra width too.

£13.24 gets you one of these. Try one first and if it isn't for you then you haven't lost out much.
