I've got a genesis longitude for commuting. Its got 27.5x 2.8 tyres. I'd love mudguards! Widest I can find so far are SKS bluemels at 65mm? Anyone got better. I do want full guards not just a thing you stick on your seat post.
May also go to 3inch tyres in the future so even wider would be great. Also don't want to spend $1000000.Ta

Look for trials bike mudguards and make your own brackets. Epicyclo is the forum mudguard guru.

As scotroutes said, motorbike guards are going to be your only option I think.

I have full guards on my Krampus, plenty of room with 3" tyres. 😀

They came from this guy in the US, very solid and excellent coverage, but they look to have gone up in price quite a bit since I got mine, plus shipping and customs on top really sting...

Yeah, I think they were about half that when I got them, presumably there's quite a lot of demand...

You have to make your own stays.

I use the rears on my fatbike. Very strong, light, and unbreakable.

And don't worry about appearance - if you ride in mud, the bike will be clarted anyway, but you will still look your cleancut handsome self. And you won't have to lick emulsified dog shit off your lips...
