Chain slippage..

Right i'll get straight to the point. It's on the middle chain ring & pretty much all of the rear cassette, when I put pressure on the chain.
It's new cassette and a new chain, but none of the other gears slip?

p.s. it's my second spare chain as the first was completely shoddy.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..

Worn out middle ring? Have a good look at it. If the teeth look a bit pointy, that's probably it.You can test if the ring's worn out by stamping hard on the pedal (bike static, not riding). Hit the pedal hard, if it makes an almighty crashing sound as the chain rips over the top of the teeth, there's yer culprit.
