Do you:
1) Replace you chain everey 6 weeks or so to reduce the overall wear on the chain rings cassette
or
2) Wait until the chain starts slipping before replacing it
I've always followed the first bit of advice but have recently heard the second comment, which seems to be too late to me, but opinions welcome please.
