Just put all the kit for 1x10 on but not sure I've got the chain length right or not. In the past I've just chucked it round big-big and added a couple of links but that was on a hardtail with 2x9.
On the smallest/highest gear it looks like this.

Is that right or do I need to take another link oot?

Less chain means less weight and less slap, right?
The method that Shimano details in their technical document works. But what I do is set the chain length so that in big/big the rear derailleur survives i.e. so that if I took out another link something would give if I shifted into big/big.
