Time for some enormous unnecessary jumps!
I don't think I'd be putting that flag on a bike...
Why? Slavery has been long gone for a while, surely we can all laugh about it now?
JOKING!
Do you have to jump off the saddle and over the top tube in one go rather than just swinging your leg over it and stepping away?
Can we see Daisy Duke on it?
surely we can all laugh about it
We tend to laugh at them, but from a safe distance....

Why's that then?
Why's that then?
Because to many people it's a racist symbol. It's not quite as emotionally charged as a swastika, but it's in the same area.

Grass needs cutting!
Ah righht. The bikes a reference to the car in the kids programme, after it turned out the same colour as it.
I'll pick the stickers off before I go to the states in case anyone thinks I'm being racist.
Yeeeehaw!!! Love it! Always ran a Confederate flag sticker on my old lil red 'bred, had matching gloves too. I am not racist . . . just a good ol' girl, never meanin' no harm ๐
Works well aesthetically for me.

'Tis true that the frame previously had 'inbred' stickers on it.... Bit of a theme continuing.
Do you have blonde hair or brown?
Are you followed down the trail by a black and white 29er with overly soft suspension?
I am not racist
That's what quite a lot of the Flaggers say. Some people perpetuate some very strange ideas, especially around the South of the USA.
