ok, I've got a BB mounted Superstar plasma and I'm putting it on a Cove G spot.
73mm BB and Shimano Ht cranks. So I've removed the drive side spacer and put the chain device on. However when I put the cranks back on it fouls on the granny ring threads. Even if I file these off it will still foul the middle ring. I've got an e13 bash on the out side. how do I fix this? do I need longer cranks?
Pictures would help.
Which bit is fouling the granny threads, the backplate of the device?
If shaved off you should have enough clearance to run a single ring ok, I have done so for before with a BB mounted chain device, stick some pics might help people see that exact issue.
Which cranks too, slx, xt?
Yeah the backplate is fouling the granny ring threads. They are the cheap cranks M540 or something
