20ish miles maybe? I've ridden in the general area a few times but not for a good few years so not overly familiar with how to link classic bits together etc.

Not overly fussed about ultra technical stuff at the minute, happy on big climbs etc, as little tarmac as possible is always nice.

I've got komoot but find the ride quality on there is very variable. Any gpx files would be massively appreciated. 👍

Up broken road and then up to mam nick. Down towards Greenland's then up to hollikns cross. Down to blacktor bridge then a short but or road to clough farm.ย  Via Jaggers clough to Hope Cross.

Roman road and then up to Wooler knoll. Down to Aston Drop to Brough and then up to Bradwell edge.ย  Through Bradwell and the track behind the cement works

The BW past the cement works, then Brough Lane / Bradwell Edge (or if you want miles, then ride up to it via Sahtton and Offerton.

Back down the BW, and up Pindale, down Cavedale (because it's best done after a good warmup, but not knackered).

Lunch in Castleton

Then up the broken road, take your pick of the descents off Mam Tor to Edale they're all decent.ย  Then climb back up the one from Greenlands as it's rideable then descend back into Castleton, although in my head that descent is the Roman Road and heads east, but the map says that's a footpath and the BW drops straight down so i might be miss0remembering that bit.

Similar to above, my variation for a good day out in the Peak is;

Park Hope, head up Pindale, over the byway, down Cave Dale, Broken Road, Mam Nick.

Down to Greenlands Farm, back up to Hollins Cross then down to Edale.

Jaggers to Hope Cross and as many runs of Win Hill as you can manage.

Recommend The Gift, back up Elmin Pitts, then "SB" downhill, "SB" climb, back to the ridge and Right Side Clyde back to the bottom of the Landrover track.

Finish at Adventure Cafe and a new set of brake pads from 18 Bikes.

My route above goes through Castleton so easy to start / finish there.ย  It's just harder to judge how many of the numerous runs on Win Hill you can fit in, than do a Pindale / Cave Dale finish!ย  But if you are not into tech, cut out Win Hill and it's still a cracking loop with a banger of a finish!

I have basically all of this plotted out on a komoot loop inc a great run down the main win hill line. DM me your email and i'll send it to you.

Broken rd to Mam Nick; Rushup Edge to pick up Pennine Bridleway to Roych Clough; South Head; Coldwell Clough; climb to Edale Cross; Jacobs Ladder; Edale; Greenlands/Hollins Cross then back to Castleton.

Or to extend it a bit, take the road out of Edale toward Hope, then take the bridleway left toward Jaggers Clough, up to Hope Cross, descend Roman rd to Hope, then take the road back to Castleton.

This route covers some great, not too technical parts. Probably better started in Castleton than Botton IMO.
