My Carradice saddlebag has quite a few minor holes in it from near daily use over 12 years, what sort of thread should I use use to repair it?They are too small to repair with the glue and cottonduck repair kit that Carradice offer.

Ideally it would match the faded green colour of the bag 😀

Just send it to Carradice - they are very helpful and happy to repair and prolong the life of old stuff.

I repaired my 25-year old Carradice Camper Long Flap using patches of denim from old jeans, glued with Evo Stick contact adhesive.

My other half bought it 12 years ago and can't find the receipt, I'll contact them anyway to see if they can repair it or offer advice.

I bought some stuff from a sewing machine shop.

Got anything strong, eyeballs thread, got anything stronger, eyeballs thread, got anything stronger and they produced something that's a pain to stitch with but doesn't break.
