After a failed C2C attempt last weekend due to totalled mech/hanger/spoke combo we decided on a couple of days riding around Aviemore taking on Kenny wilsons Inshriach route and detouring up Carn Ban Mor.

First stop was our campsite at Oath Lochan. A beautiful area with no people, no wind but loads of midges:

The morning started off with a long headwind blast south down Glen Feshie then the monster climb that ensued:

After the gruelling climb to 1052m we were rewarded with great views...and an even better one of the descent that was to follow:

Double track soon turned into great narrow singletrack in the final blast down to Feshie

Lots more ST followed when we eventually rejoined the Insh route and can thoroughly recommend the route.

Did this at Easter. Looks so different without snow. The descent to Glen Feshie has to be one of the best descents in the UK.

Looks from the pics you made it up to Sgor Gaioth. We missed out on that. Combination of hundreds of hikers and strong winds meant we just took the descent back down...which was just fantastic. Top 5 in the UK IMO.

won't be forgetting the first view of the impending deeeescent.......before this one, it was a while since i continuously descended for more then 1/2 hour on a bike.........A fantastic payback for the lung-busting climb.
