Hello

I've got a toddler and he's getting a bit too big/wiggly at 18 months old for the daily commute on a weeride (whilst wearing waterproof gear the shoulder straps slide off, and the feet guards are already at their lowest setting)

I don't really want him on the back of a bike, or in a trailer, so my only option looks to be a cargo bike. Obviously getting one under a grand is unlikely, so looking to see if anyone knows of a 'friendly' cargo bike supplier who could take halfords vouchers as part/most payment towards a bike?

Thanks

Compton Cycles were on the Halfords voucher shop list last time I did one, they stock Gazelle so may be able to do something with a Cabby.

(interested in how you get on as I'm in a similar boat).

to wrap this up, in the end I did exactly as suggested above - got a gazelle cabby from Compton, who were happy with the vouchers not covering the whole value of the bike.

first impressions - it's big, has better brakes than I was expecting (the poshest shimano rollerbrakes), so slows down ok, the bottom gear could do with being a bit lower (might upgrade to a nexus 8 at some point), and its lots of fun for both me and the little one

Bikefix in London will be able to help. I bought my brompton on a halfords scheme there, they sell all manor of weird bikes there - folders, recumbents, cargo bikes, trikes etc
