[Closed] Carbon Monocoque fork on a "normal" bike - will it look rubbish?

If I fit a pair of these:

To a bike with a conventional straight 1 1/8" headtube (ie not a swoopy carbon 456), is the crown interface going to look silly?

Anyone got any pics of a similar situation?

Google for Niner SIR 9 with the Niner carbon fork. Nor sure I like it myself.

Matter of opinion but i don't think they look great on thin steel frames, especially those on one forks as they're a bit fugly. Google image singular swift and it will bring up a few where poeple have put niner forks on there. Also think there's a pic by bigdugsbaws of his solaris with an on one on there.

They do however look incredible on the niner carbon frame.

cheers.

Not looking promising. Reckon I'll go down the route of Singular steel forks...

I have a pair of these and a non oversized integrated HT.

There is an evident "step" at the crown race/fork shoulder.

This is inpart due to the the fact that the headset is integral but even with a std Hope lower cup its still looks a bit "wrong".

Happy with the fork and weight though.

That fork will look rubbish no matter what you attach it to, frankly.
