I have enough wheels/forks/parts etc. to do a self-build but I'm after a small carbon frame, for the missus.
Any options out there?
Or a decent alu frame if not...
[I've seen the On One frames but they are just too ugly]
Otherwise I may have to buy a full bike and break it.
Not many then...
Ghost do a nice 29er carbon hardtail full price is about £1700 m y friend has one rates it highly I've not ridden it so can't say.
JE James were doing Giant carbon HT's for £875 ish recently,
you need to do a few random carbon 29er frame type google searches and trawl through the results...
Couple of small Stumpjumper 29er Evo frames on Bikescene, if a full suss is an option
Chinese carbon maybe? The ones on ebay or from from Flyxii ($350) are well regarded at the cheaper end and at the top end the 256sl (available from many resellers like XmiPlay/ Hongfu/ Honsen) has pretty much the same geo as a Scott Scale and 1060g in a Large for ~£400. The 056 or 057 fit somewhere in the middle price-wise and also appear very popular.
How come no one's mentioned this yet? On One Lurcher Carbon £279
EDIT: ignore me
cheers all
+1 for Chinese
The more I drink the more I'm tempted to just get a full bike.
The Cubes and Canyons are just lovely.
+1 for the Lurcher , makes a brilliant bike !
