Hello

I've got a dropper seatpost, and I'm having some difficulty getting the seat collar tight enough to grip the post, without the post distorting and affecting the 'dropping' performance.

Now, it seems a similar problem is had by those with carbon seatposts, so you can get carbon assembly grease which is used to help the bits grip. I've 2 questions :

will this stuff work between a steel frame and alu post (or does it do something fancy to the carbon itself)

is it any different from standard anti-sieze grease?

Thanks!

Hugh

Yes it is different... carbon paste is like clear grease with added bite. Almost like a sand added to it. Helps the two grip together.

It will be fine between a steel frame and alu post. I use it between Ti-alu for the same purpose. Its magic stuff!
