Why has my 456 got 2 sets of brake hose guides to the rear?
Ive seen pics of others on Flikr with the rear caliper mounted in beteen seat and chain stays - mine is mounted behind the seatstay and use top guides. Is this why 2 cable guides? But why would the calipers mount differently?
Is it just because of different caliper mount types - is post etc?

I believe there's 2 different dropouts. Mine is between the stays with the disc mount and I use the lower cable routing

Original intention was between dropouts but some calipers don't fit hence alternative routing

Mine is mounted inside the frame, looks good, but a nightmare to bleed in situ
