Car roof bike rack that doesn't drip rust on my car

I have factory alloy roof bars on my car and Thule 530 racks.

This has become an almost permanent feature of my car.

However I've noticed the 530 is corroding and marking the car roof.

Before I buy any other rack, is there one that other people use that will last a long time permanently installed and won't drip rusty water on my car roof?

Hmm. Not sure I'd stick my bike in a 70mph wind on the roof of the car using a cheap copy rack... :-/

Thule 591 (or whatever is the current version?)- alloy, so have been using mine for years with no rusting 🙂

Better than a rusted out 530?

However great - thanks all - I'm on the hunt now for the best price on some 591s
