Make fixies history! Oh, he just did.......

Also, as stated by Carlton "Bike Journo" Reid recently -

Fixie craze now officially over. David Beckham has one

Slimtubing has the lead so far, I think.

ps. Fixies were never 'cool', I'm mostly thinking that he probably didn't realise it was one when he bought it.

Nope. No more than usual! Only joshing with yer Ton! Just a bit of banter,eh? 😀

Why has he got 2 pairs of glasses?

Ones a pair of sunnies, the other have clear lenses.

Of course, you do know that Becks could probbly rip the legs off most folk on here? Pro footballers train on bikes in the gym, and probbly have pretty high max power outputs.

Tis a shit bike though.

Stop taking life so seriously Hadge.

I think it's great that there is a pic of him buying bikes for his kids and himself in the papers - major celebs pictured with bikes is all good (if you would like to see more people riding bikes)

If that means fixies have become 'fashionable' then mine is going in the attic for a few years until all the trendies have crashed screaming into the front of a bus.

Oh, just remembered, it's ok, mine is unfashionable - it's got brakes at both ends. 🙂

what is he wearing - why do people like him think its cool to look like they have raided their wee brothers wardrope for clothes!!! Get some bloody trousers that fit you! His other pair of glassed is what he should have been wearing for his should have gone to specsavers moment when he took what he thought was Victorias arm to go to the car after a hard days shopping wiht the kids!!!!! 😆

what is he wearing

He's wearing tracksuit bottoms and a white long sleeved t-shirt.

What's wrong with that?

I'm assuming he rolled up one trouser leg to avoid oil marks, and rolled the other one up to avoid looking like a c*nt

Yeah right STW, it's a fixie.
At least me and my lads are out the bikes an not sat around arguing on the interwebs with strangers.

Or

Check out my red rim, i've not had one of those since leaving united.

some b@st@rds knicked my brakes and stabilisers. Unfortunately he's probably just trying to remember where he left his Range Rover.

Beckham takes "push bike" literally.

or

"Hi, I'd like some new red rims to go with these sunnies." "Certainly Sir, there's 2 on this bike. That'll be £3000 please, and here's the glasses I used to see you coming. You can have them for free." Oh, and the bike comes with a flip flop hub.

Ah, do we all have a downer on David because he's richer than us? Eh? Because he's become wealthy just from playing football while the rest of us have been slaving away for little reward? Because he's better looking than us, and gets women swooning over him while we are fat and boring and struggle to get the woman in accounts to notice us? Shall we all slag him off and criticise him to make us feel better about our selves?

Diddums.

Yeah but can your hubby produce a pin-point accurate defence splitting 40-yard pass, or score 30-yard curling free kicks the goalie has no chance of getting to?

More importantly, can he Bend It Like Beckham?

Beckam's bling bike badly bereft of bloomin breaks.

In other news, Sinbad's slacks stolen by shady soccer star.

That's why I love STW 😀

What about the Baby Rhino?

He'd have one at home, yet still go out and hire one....

i just don't get why it has to be "cool" to ride a fixie.
It's a training tool, just like kit at the gym.
His kids are on BMX bikes. Are they uncool now?

I quite like him, he's been through the works with the public and media during his a career. He give 100% and is very skilled. As for fixeys they are not cool and fairly dangerous for use on the road.

The bike isn't dangerous, it's the user's skill level that determines the danger level.
Just like guns, they're not dangerous until they get into the hands of idiots.
Oh shit, Becks has got a fixie! lol
