Hi,

I cannot find the answer to this after searching for last few hours..Basically I am trying to find out if I could fit a Fox 36 160mm to a Canyon Nerve ultimately to give it 'more beef'.

Or would this mess up the geometry and warranty ??

Thanks

REply from Canyon ..

Message Body

Hi Barry,

Many thanks for your e-mail.

We fit the 150mm Fox fork to the bike. We would not expect problems from a 160mm fork but if it was found that a non-specified fork had caused a problem with the bike then it would not be covered by warranty.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

Sincerely,

Cullen Ward - Canyon UK

Interesting, I've just got Nerve 9 HS (small). It is a great bike but find the lower BB height gives noticably less rock clearance than my Marin Rock Springs. Cranks are 170mm. I guess fitting smaller/thinner pedals than CB Mallets would help but had not thought of a longer fork to give slight increase in BB height here. Would slacken the fork angle too....

cannot see any warranty issues possible it could throw the handling out a little, give it a try nothing to lose
am riding a canyon torque 180mm at the mo for everything little bit on the heavey side but big grin factor should call it the canyon smile
