I think Canyon Nerve 29 has 110mm fork travel. How do they achieve that as Fox don't do a 110mm fork? Is it adjusted internally?
any ideas?
thanks
120mm forks dropped to 110 with an internal spacer. This happens a lot with OEM 100mm forks too, means they can keep one fork in stock and use it for a number of different bikes and travel options.
It might be an OEM special, or it could just be spacered.
I was up in Koblenz the other week, and had a ride of one round the Canyon car park, it is a very nice bike, I am going to be saving up for one for next summer.
Thanks - kind of think it would be nice at 120mm so sounds easy enough to change
Probably wait til. Next years stuff is announced though
Might or might not be changeable, I've had fork in the past that were a OEM length (90mm), they could be reduced to 80, but not the other way. I doub't it'd be much different anyway, 10mm is about the height of a 5p coin! Especialy as you're making judgements having not ridden it!
Here's my Nerve 7.9 29er

that looks sorted - can't complain about the garden too much either - in a rustic country cottage sort of way! Does it have dropper guides?
@ thisisnotaspoon - this is STW, unfounded judgements are compulsory. But it would be nice if it had the option to slacken it a touch
Fair enough, i still think it'd be minor enough that you'd not notice it, but if the placebo effect helps ๐

It has a port for internal hose routing and attachment points under the top tube for external
