Help, I am looking to buy a canyon AM possibly the 7 or 8x, my dilema is with size, the site says I need a small, possibly due to my short legs,take short leg trousers, I'm 5'9" tall. but I have a long torso, so was hoping the medium would fit. Any Issues with standover? as looks more than some.
Any advise would help?
Am6 owner here. I'm 5"10 with shortish legs and a medium only just offers enough reach for me and I added a 20mm longer stem straight away. Standover feels fine when riding but there's not much clearance. If you're anywhere near Skipton then you're welcome to try mine for size.

I am a 5'3" female, i bought an AM in a small earlier this year and it fits me spot on. My partner is 5'9" with a 33" leg and its far too small for him, makes him look like he's riding a childs bike. When i submitted my measurements to buy the bike it would only let me buy and XS Woman's bike, so i had to lie!!!!! The only thing i felt i needed to change was the stem, for a slightly shorter version.
I love my Canyon and would recommend one 😀
@tunstallgirl - without being indelicate, what's your inside leg? looking to size a bike for my wife, who's the same height as you. Not sure about S or XS...
5'10" here with shorter legs and longer top half. My medium Nerve AM is the comfiest bike I've owned. And ace fun. 🙂
Xcenric my inside leg is 30", i had to add a couple of cm all round to order a small and even then the site advised me to get an extra small.
