Looking for a bike for my son, medium sub £500 already thought about a Hoodoo Voodoo but got side tracked to other websites. Paul's looks good for deals, looking at a the Cannondale's, any experience? Thanks.

I can only report many years of good experiences with various Cannondales both mtb and road. Havent tried exactly those models though

Thanks, asterix. He's 14 and I want to get him going on xc and trail centres with me. Not owned a cannondale myself, think they look a good deal though!

Brother in law bought one a few months back and no problems at all. He's very happy with it and for the money you'll struggle to find a better deal.

Having said that my 15 year old son has and absolutely loves a Specialised hard rock 26er for exactly that sort of riding - just seen they have gone over to 29er now - depends how tall he is I guess

Looking at the Specialized hard rock disc now for £400, too much choice at this price range! 😕
