Firstly, can I just thank the Chase Trails guys, the Monkey trail is, in my opinion, superb, well built and a joy to ride. I know plenty has been said on it before, but for me it is spot on. Great work.

Second, I hope the guy with what looked like a broken leg is OK. We were ushered past him my a FC guy as the ambulance had already arrived (it was right at the end of FTD just as you come out by Birches Valley). I'm not a medic but I do know your foot should normally face forwards... Whoever you are, I hope you are on the mend quickly.

I thought they may do. His leg really did not look in a good way.

I went there saturday for the first time. It is as good as they say it is, superb. After finishing the lower hill descent (the one with the large pond to the left of it, near the rail crossing) a young lad had come off too, his front wheel folded like a sandwich. It definately needs repect on your first go there.

Can I also say well done to the volunteers and chase builders. It has transformed the riding experience there beyond recognition.
