Calling Cannock Locals. Where is a good place to have a post ride beer. Here's the plan......Meeting some old friends there with the kids. Drag the boys round Follow the Dog while the Ladies walk the dogs & natter. Get back to the car park, ditch the kids with the wives, go round again but a bit faster. Then hopefully a nice pint of proper beer at, hopefully a nice pub with a nice garden to sit in. Must be one or more somewhere, go on recommend me one.

there's a pub in Slitting Mill near the forest drive centre that does an OK pint and excellent pork scratchings. has a garden too.
