Its not like full suss at all.

You need to decide what you want first. If you want to take the sting out of a HT try a fatter tyre.

Haveing a device that allows the saddle to move up/down will of course only work when your sat on it, that means the gap between your pedals and ass will vary - I would find that really odd.

They don't turn a HT into a FS, but very good at ironing out the constant high frequency bumps when your knackerd & just want to sit down. I have a Lt & ST versions & TBH the ST is good enough & IME they are better than normal suss seatposts as your pedal distance remains the same.

Cheers.

They are great for XC type riding and long rides but you can't drop the seat right down which became an issue when I was in the Alps last year. Will take my dropper this time. Otherwise I recommend, takes the sting out of the rough stuff, ideal when my back was dodgy.

Thundbuster = Ass-Saver. I put one on my Bfe because I dont have the fitness to lift my derrier for every bump, and it does reduce the fatigue from the hammering of my back. Problem is I have almost stopped using my FS. Got mine 2nd user bargain on Gumtree of all places.
