This fella can!
(nicked from the new MBR)
Pffft he should be doing that with very tight SPDs.
Pansy - he should be doing it on a unicycle.
Good job he had lycra on.

Easier to find him if he falls 😉
You should see the video of him when he sobers up and they tell him what he did at yesterdays aprés ski party 🙂
Ponce; he wants to try trackstanding on the Old St roundabout in rush-hour...
but why, to what end?
Cos he can?
Whenever I see people doing stuff like this, I can't help thinking; 'you're a bit of a knob, and if it went wrong, you'd just be a dead knob...'
it's fake, the shadows are all wrong. Superimposed shi*
trackstand is very useful and rather easy, even with SPD's I find it no harder than on flats.
Why?
He's not trackstanding, he's using his left foot on the front wheel - it's nowhere near his pedal...
Smee - I suppose it was just a vital skill I learned from bike trials days, but a good balance on a bike is useful (actually especially with SPD's) because you dont have to jump off the bike and unclip every time somebody stops in front of you on a trail, or in front of traffic lights.
i can...........for bout 5 seconds......
Yes on anything but the tandem. But we're even getting beter on that we're up to about 30 seconds now.Can you trackstand?
Then try it no-handed.
On a cliff.
😯
easy can do it for 3mins but get bored...
Whilst it is impressive, it is surely one of the most pointless excercises I have seen anyone do on a bike
