I built up a nice 14" Scandal for my partner based around a build bundle from On-One which included the forks. The forks are 100mm Recon Silver TK coils and really need a softer spring. Equally on a 14" frame the 100mm forks look a little chopper like and I was wondering about dropping them to 80mm at the same time, if that was possible. Solo Air Recon Silvers have the usual spacer arrangements within the air spring; would dropping travel on the Recon coils be as simple as buying a shorter spring?
