This is on one of our Konas. A girl managed to fall off and jam the lever into the ground, causing the lever/piston(?) to pull out of it's socket.
I've tried to force it back in but with no luck so far...maybe I need to force it more?
Anyone fixed something like this, it must be fairly common?

There'll be a brass washer or similar that holds the ball end in place against the piston. When the lever gets ripped away from the bars this gives way, I believe they are designed to do so.
I've replaced them on other brakes, but with Shimano being Shimano it wouldn't surprised of the part wasn't available. I'd guess there's just a circlip holding it in place, so if you get that out the washer should just come out easily

As per legend - it's done what it's designed to do in such occurences. There's a circlip so you should be able to pop it back in without too many difficulties ๐
