I can't see why you couldn't convert it. All you would need is a longer solid axle of the same thread and a couple of track nuts to suit.
yeah i use the axle rods version, got them from my lbs tho! i've had no probs as yet and they save a little weight too.
Use the bolt up versions on my commuter as it means I don't need to secure the wheels, no problems so far and they come in all sorts of colours so you can add a bit of bling.
Cheers chaps might give them a go. I was a bit concerned with the crc reviews of snapping rods but worth a shot for that price 😉
