I’ve got about 3-4 hours to kill up there this week.
Starting in that immediate area? Or could you drive a short way, for example to Langsett to ride Cutgate?
There's a great route in the VP guidebook from Mirfield. If you were feeling very fit you could start in Shelley. A short drive however and you can start from the top of the ride listed.
No I won’t have My vehicle - it’s getting dropped off near Shelly for some repair work, hence the hours to kill.
You could easy burn a couple of hours in Deffer Woods which is chock full of flowy trails and some jumpy stuff. If you want XC you can easy link up some stuff but Deffer is the place to be around there and up until the weekend’s rain has been running sweet. I’ll send some pointers via if you want.
