I want to spread my rear end (on a steel CX bike from 130 to 135mm).

Thanks

Any good bike shop should be able to do it - or you can do it yourself. Just get a block of wood and hammer it down between the stays - you'll need to go further than 135mm as it'll spring back.

I've simply spread the dropouts by hand and put the wheel in. It'll soon "cold set" at the new spacing (if it's only 5mm different!).

Did it with a block of wood a few times before I got the proper tool.
