As above.
I once got some Lizard Skins pads, the quality was great, as expected, however they had bloody lizard pictures on them!, the next lot made cling film look thick !
Dont want to spend a fortune or get a pack that contains 20m2 etc..
Many thanks
Cheers
Kev
I've had some of those Lizard Skins ones too, it always struck me as daft to print an opaque logo on a clear patch. I think that helicopter tape is tough enough be used as frame patches, although it is pretty thin. There are plenty of different sizes on Ebay.
I bought a A4 sheet of various sized carbon patches off ebay a while back (just checked and can't see any for sale at the mo).
Got them on both bikes, and neither have lifted or peeled off in over a year.
What protection do you want from it? If just cable rub and light sratches then just by some polyurethane (aka helicopter) tape and cut it up to the sizes you need. You can get various thickness tapes and 0.2mm is perfect for rub and general scratches.
