I was after a bike that's on Ebay but the seller wants me to arrange my own courier. Obviously, there's thousands of results if you Google it and we've all heard horror stories about cowboy couriers.

Has anyone used one to transport a bike cross country? One that will collect from a third party and deliver it to myself?

Thanks

Never mind the courier. Do you trust the seller to pack it adequately? It'll be your responsibility, not hers.

Well it's from a shop with good feedback they just don't deal in bikes. Plus it's not particularly expensive or fragile I just can't find one close to home.

Thanks for the first suggestion. Hopefully I'll have a few different options worth trying tomorrow.

I've been using senditnow.com safely for years.
£12 for a bike delivered anywhere in the UK.
It gets collected by Royal Mail, delivered by Royal Mail, and it is cheaper than Royal Mail.
