There is a camping & caravanning club site that literally sits on the Monkey Trail (Ok its a 30sec ride). Wont be cheap, but it is nice.

Tackeroo campsite too, you ride through it on FtW, no showers though.

No tents allowed on the Tackeroo site, whether you can cross your legs and forego showers long enough or not...

I'm surprised the Springslade Lodge site isn't more developed, it's in an ideal location and could be rammed but it's often empty...

That's the one I'd go for. Very nice, trails right on your doorstep (or should that be 'tentflap?').

Bit of a hike to the nearest pub, but not too far on a bike if you're after that sort of thing but otherwise pefect. The guy who runs it is friendly and helpful too.
