Can anyone recommend me a camp site in Chamonix. Somewhere secure to lock bikes when not riding is a high priority and other than that I'm just looking for the usual things such as a shower and nearish to Chamonix if poss.

Take at look at camping mer de glace about a 10 minute cycle to town off road

tbh - it all feels safe around there, we just locked our bikes to a tree. But don't take that as gospel nothing will be nicked

We just usually use a big tree too
I lock a great big motorcycle security chain around a big tree & then lock the bikes to that
